Do all of your ingredients come from Hawai’i?
The founder and creator of Ash Botanicals, Ashly, grows some of our product ingredients in her garden. Ashly also sources from local farmers and wildcrafts the herbs from the land with permission from the plants, friends and family. Although the majority of our ingredients are from Hawai’i, some yummy ingredients are just not accessible here. For everything sourced from outside of Hawai’i, we use companies that are ethical and offer only high-quality, organic ingredients. For further inquiries please contact ashly@ashbotanicals.com.
Do your products contain gluten, soy and/or preservative?
Our products contain zero gluten, preservative, and soy.
Your products contain oil. Are there any allergies I should be aware of?
We use high-quality, organic vegetable and seed oils. If you have any allergies to certain nut, seeds or vegetable oil, please do not consume or use our products topically.
Are your products safe to use while pregnant/breastfeeding?
We offer a complete list of ingredients on our product labels and website. If you have any concerns and/or questions about the ingredients in our products, please consult your physician.
I have a serious, underlying health condition. Are your products safe for me to use?

Are your products made in small batches?
Yes! Ashly, the creator and founder of Ash Botanicals is a one woman show! She harvests, dries and creates all of our products by hand with passion, precision and patience.
What does wildcraft mean?
Wildcrafting is a term you might hear a lot from herbal medicine makers. It simply means to gather plants from the wild.
What is a Hydrosol?
A hydrosol is a natural product derived from the steam or hydro distillation of plant materials, such as flowers, herbs, or fruits.Hydrosols capture the water-soluble compounds of the plant, including its fragrance and therapeutic properties. These gentle and water-based botanical waters offer a milder alternative to essential oils and are often used in skincare and aromatherapy for their hydrating, soothing, and aromatic qualities. Hydrosols can be applied directly to the skin, used as facial mists, incorporated into skincare routines, or even added to various products for their beneficial effects
PRODUCT VARIANCE
Why is the aroma/color of my product different from my last order?
We make all of our products in small batches. This means that there is a good chance that your next order will differ slightly in color and smell. We strive to have consistency from batch to batch, but because we make everything by hand it is not always a guarantee.
What is the shelf-life of your products?
Because our products are made from real plants and contain fresh ingredients, we give a shelf life from 6 to 12 months depending on the product. In order to maintain maximum freshness it’s best to store our products in a cool, dark location.
How do I know your products will work?
Everyone is different. We strive to formulate with the best intention and ingredients possible. We can only promise you that what we put into our ingredients are real and true.

Given the artisanal nature of our products crafted in small batches, we appreciate your understanding as we meticulously handle the shipping and processing of your order. Prior to making a purchase, we encourage you to connect with us should you have any questions or concerns, especially regarding potential allergies to specific ingredients. For those with skin concerns and sensitivity please reach out, and we'll be delighted to assist. It's important to note that Ash Botanicals does not facilitate exchanges, returns, or refunds for reasons such as general dissatisfaction, allergic reactions, or a product not aligning with your skin.
Damage Policy
In the unfortunate event that your package arrives damaged during shipping, we are more than willing to replace it. To proceed with a replacement, we kindly ask that you provide clear, detailed photos of the damaged items and the original packaging, including the shipping box. Please send these images to ashly@ashbotanicals.com within 24 hours of receiving your package. It's crucial to adhere to these steps to ensure a prompt replacement of the damaged items; otherwise, we regrettably won't be able to fulfill the replacement request.
